01 — Project details

Ultimate Ninjas, a national franchise offering obstacle course gyms for kids and adults, came to us with the challenge of creating a brochure to entice potential franchisees. The brochure needed to provide a wide range of information, including the company’s history and philosophy, details on the classes and programs offered, and the financial aspects of purchasing and running a franchise. The key goal was to create a compelling, informative brochure that would effectively sell the franchise opportunity at trade shows and other events.

02 — Creative process

As the sole copywriter on the project, I worked closely with the Ultimate Ninjas team, navigating a range of differing opinions within the organization. I took the time to understand each stakeholder’s perspective and offered compromises in areas where there was disagreement, ensuring that the final copy met everyone’s expectations. The brochure had to present detailed information clearly, so I focused on organizing the content in a way that was both concise and accessible. I made sure to strike the right balance between selling the franchise opportunity and providing necessary logistical details.

03 — Results

Although the brochure wasn’t fully realized due to a change in the partnership between my employer and Ultimate Ninjas, the Ninjas team was extremely pleased with the work I did. They were pleasantly surprised at how I organized complex information into a clear, easy-to-understand format. The feedback from the team was positive, and they expressed confidence that the brochure would be an effective tool in attracting potential franchisees.
